Baker Petrolite has successfully used the TEC since 2001 to improve shipment visibility and overall communications among its domestic inbound carrier network. Building upon this success, Baker Petrolite is now relying on SCO Logistics and ShipLogix to better manage its domestic and international outbound freight, implement web-hosted optimization tools and integrate with its Materials Resource Planning (MRP) system. Using the TEC platform, SCO and ShipLogix were able to quickly offer this added functionality. The solution provides visibility to all inbound and outbound shipments and incorporates a single event inventory system that date and time stamps each critical event.
